On observe trois principaux résultats.
The health structure of developing countries shows the importance of African pharmacopoeia in health care. As a result, the enhancement of the pharmacopoeia by the public authorities in Côte d'Ivoire appears to be fundamental objective for the development of the health system. This interest of the public authorities for the valorization of the said medicine will be translated into various activities in particular the regulation of the exercise of the pharmacopoeia. Added to this is the decree on the code of ethics and deontology of the pharmacopoeia as well as the protection of traditional healers and their medicines by the OIPI. However, these activities aimed at promoting the pharmacopoeia have some weakness with regard to the reaction of traditional healers. The objective of this work is to identify the organizational paradoxes at the origin of the resistance of traditional healers to the valorization of the pharmacopoeia. The survey took place in the neighborhoods of the district of Abidjan. This is a qualitative and quantitative cross-section al observational study. Data collection was based on individual interviews using an interview guide, a questionnaire and a camera. Three main results are observed. These are the plural designation of the pharmacopoeia drug, the plural packaging of the pharmacopoeia drug, the dangerousness of the pharmacopoeia drug. Added to this is the plural dosage and multiple perceptions of the preservation of the biodiversity of medicinal plants. Such a situation makes it possible to understand the conflicts between state logic and the logic of traditional healers.
