Research with mixed analysis, qualitative and quantitative to analyze learning strategies, focusing on the strategy of metacognition because they study the acquisition of complex knowledge (language, logic and mathematics), taught in Smart Classroom. The justification for the study is the existence of low approval rates in the learning unit belonging to the substantive and obligatory nucleus, causing desertion in the careers of the area of computer engineering. Aiming to know the causes of poor performance, although learning is doing in a favorable psychopedagogical environment. Results, the adequate psychopedagogical environment is not enough for the acquisition of complex and simultaneous knowledge because the student stops frequently in the process of abstraction, because of the difficulty of finding meaning within his mental map. Therefore, metacognition as a reflective process in the face of complex learning only serve to realize its errors and arbitrariness. Causing a slow self-regulation, learning by trial and error. Requiring the accompaniment of a facilitator (human or electronic) who contextualizes it, accelerating the understanding and fixation of knowledge. The human facilitator produces greater acceleration of learning because it presents more channels of communication and regulation.
