Narrative writing refers to an evocative and descriptive writing approach that reveals particulars of an act, happening or phenomenon. Primary school students must learn as is part of the destination language skills. Basically, training scholars to compose and write narrative involves instructing them to express themselves like the writers that they like to read. The reality encountered in the class reveals that most of the scholars do not possess the skill to describe thoughts, ideas, and events on a narrative form of writing. Scholars must comprehend the essentials of narrative assembly for being able to produce their personal story. Then scholars should be able to list events in a chronological order. Creating characters and describing the character is another important aspect, which contributes to a successful story. Planning how they will act in the story will be the first step on creating the plot. The plot of the story includes a problematic element that the main or secondary characters must address or a main event that they must to go through. Incorporating details will give the reader a better image of the character’s interacting and plot development. Including the right amount of details will also accelerate or slow down the velocity of the plot giving the reader the right amount of suspense. Suspenseful situations are an important part of the narrative; they will be the part that will leave a mark on the reader’s mind. Soon after main characters’ challenges are concluded, and the suspense of the narrative ended, scholars should integrate a concluding part which offers the reader a satisfactory finale. Including the above mentioned element will allow scholars to express themselves on a comprehensive and enjoyable way. The main objective is not the quality of the narrative output but developing a good handling of the elements which contributes to comfortable story writing.
