Abstract

Based on fundamental neuroanatomical knowledge, this review article highlights some important and elementary functions of the corpus amygdaloideum (amygdala), primarily in functional connection with attention, emotions, and memory. Furthermore, from specific functional perspectives, it presents the highly important correlation between neuroanatomy and educational psychology.
